Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SolutionJet Inc., a Florida corporation ("SolutionJet," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit or use any of the websites, applications, APIs, datasets, dashboards, newsletters, and related services that we operate under the Arboryx brand or any of its sector publications (collectively, the "Services").

The Services include, without limitation:

By accessing or using the Services, you consent to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

Most of the Services are usable without an account. If and when you create an account, subscribe to a newsletter, submit a feedback form, or contact us, we may collect the information you provide (for example, email address, display name, message contents, and any optional profile details).

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you access the Services, we and our service providers (including content delivery, hosting, analytics, and abuse-prevention vendors) may automatically collect:

1.3 Information we do NOT collect

We do not knowingly collect government identifiers, financial account numbers, biometric data, precise (GPS-level) location, or "special category" data under the GDPR through the public-facing Services. If a future feature requires any such data, we will update this Policy before collecting it.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

3. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

The Services use a minimal set of first-party cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage entries to remember UI preferences (such as the last-viewed sector, mute state for grove audio, and cached findings for performance). We may also use privacy-respecting analytics that record aggregated visit patterns. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings; doing so may degrade certain features (for example, the grove may re-load data on each visit).

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

5. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may surface, link to, embed, or rely on content, data, and tools from third parties (including financial data sources, news sources, social platforms, and cloud infrastructure providers). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. You should review their policies separately.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Server-side request logs are typically retained for a rolling operational window and then aggregated or deleted; account information (when accounts exist) is retained for the life of the account plus a reasonable post-closure window.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of any information. You use the Services at your own risk.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable threshold). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to (i) request access to the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, (ii) request deletion of certain personal information, (iii) request correction of inaccurate personal information, and (iv) opt out of certain "sharing" or "selling" as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise rights by contacting us using the details in Section 13. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. EEA/UK Visitors

The Services are operated from and intended primarily for use in the United States. If you access the Services from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws different from those of the United States, please be aware that information we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to that transfer and processing.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to these signals; accordingly, the Services do not currently respond to them. We will revisit this position if and when a clear standard emerges.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we may provide additional notice (such as through a prominent banner on the Services). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
